Aniseed balls are small, hard, deep-red sweets with a strong, long-lasting aniseed flavour. They're one of the oldest British sweet-shop classics and still a favourite with liquorice and aniseed fans. Ours are the Kingsway vegan recipe. Aniseed balls did arrive at our address in America, package needed an extra layer of bubble wrap. The jar did take a beating. Aniseed balls do have a Good taste.
