Works well under my Solidsteel rack.
My Solidsteel rack comes with spikes to couple to the floor. Changing to Herbie’s Threaded Stud Gliders decoupled the rack horizontally, while still coupling vertically. Like how Tokyo skyscrapers are built to withstand earthquakes there. I like the positive effect they made to the sound.

Threaded Stud Gliders - excellent!
I bought these gliders to replace the spikes on my Sanus speaker stands. I am using the gliders on thick carpeting to get my speakers dialed-in and they worked very well. Spikes are never easy to make small incremental movements. The gliders support the stands just as well as spikes and are very stable without any rocking of the stand bases while offering much more precise, easy movements.
