The puzzles themselves are nicely challenging without being too "guess what I'm thinking" idiosyncratic, and several used additional elements beyond pencil-and-paper, which was nice. The story arc however was bare-bones and mostly did not add much to the puzzle-solving ("you've fallen down a well/landed in a forest/are trying to escape from someplace. Now you need to solve this puzzle to get out of it"). Because each puzzle is independent of the others, they can be solved in any order but there's also little overall narrative arc.

The puzzles had a good mix from easy to difficult. We appreciated the attention to detail in the artwork and clues.
