Achieving consistent results when resewing veneer is challenging when you have to manually maintain steady pressure to keep the board against the fence, while maintaining a steady feed rate of the board into the blade. Stopping to reposition your hands as you feed long pieces through the bandsaw creates high and low spots in the veneer. The GuidePRO takes over maintaining steady pressure against the fence, allowing me to focus on maintaining a steady feed rate through the blade. This results in very consistent veneers and far less waste.

Haven’t used it much yet, but seems aptly suited for resawing more securely.
