Found in warm coastal waters of Japan, this distinctive sea slug grows to about 5–10 cm. Its body ranges from deep purple to black with darker vertical lines, accented by orange to vermilion gills and sensory organs, creating a striking contrast.
With its slender, flexible body and smooth surface, it moves gracefully along rocky seabeds.
