Decent jacket, but a bit pricey and shipping needs work

I bought the jacket in size M and overall the product is fine, though I think it’s slightly overpriced for what it actually is. When I opened the package, there was a strong plastic smell, and my first thought was that I had received a low-quality product. Luckily the smell disappeared after about half a day, and the jacket turned out to be fine. Shipping is the one area that really needs improvement. It was far too slow, and the tracking was unclear: I couldn’t tell whether the parcel would be delivered to my home or to a pickup point until I received the notification at my door. Overall, a decent jacket, but I’d expect better value for the price and a smoother delivery experience.

Good quality

I will not focus on the product but on the return policy which is something very frustrating. I wouldn't recommend someone shop from Rains online. I bought the jacket with the pants as a gift and i pressed M instead of S and i couldnt have the option just to go to the physical shop and swap. Instead i had to return the pants get refunded not the full price and order again. So at the end , the discount that you have was applied to my purchase. The whole idea is just wrong and not beneficial for the customer but only for the company. I dont mind paying the post company for returning my package but i cannot tolerate the fact that as a customer you are losing the offer or even worse i cannot go to the physical shop and swap. The item was sealed and packed. Totally unfair and unpleasant experience

Love it even though its costly

There is no doubt this is a quality garment with the attention to detail and style, but this does not come cheap. The fabric and cut allows the rain to fall off, without the stifling over heating associated with the best waterproof clothing.
