Drying Stones

Beautiful drying stone! However, the design is extremely easy to scratch with normal use. We saw wear and tear after our first use, and the paint scratches even when lightly rubbed with a fingernail. The care instructions say to rub stains with a lemon covered in salt-- based on my use, I believe this would remove the design. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, but a bit disappointed that it scratches so easily considering the price.

Love it! It’s a beautiful addition to my granite countertop. There are always those few items that the dishwasher does not do justice and being able to leave this attractive stone out makes handwashing them a handy place to land to dry.

I stained it the first day I had it by setting a plant on the stone that I had just watered. The dirty water stained it. There was some literature about problems with staining, I guess I didn't realize that things that don't typically stain would be such a big problem. It is beautiful and the stain has subsided a bit, but that is/was frustrating.
