We love the simplicity, durability, and field repairability of simply tying your sling to your rifle with a length of paracord. But when using our PQD, we wanted a way to contain the knot at the sling. The Smith Loop, by 1350 Mill Works, is simply a polished-version of the paracord loop that retains the knot inside of an aluminum sleeve.

Best sling/smith hook out super durable well made II bought 2 for my ARs it helps if you don’t want noise or scratches your handguard with traditional QD’s.

I like this attachment method much better. You have unrestricted movement and there is no noise. I have added these to my other rifles. I would recommend.

I used the 8” model on an MP5 clone to get a mounting point similar to my AR’s. Very pleased with the quality and results.
