The applicator is easy to use, provides even coverage and is easy to wash. I have also used it to apply regular lotion and sunscreen for the hard to reach areas of my back.

I bought this self tan back applicator to use with the purple Jelly tanner from Luna Bronze, to replace an older, cheap one from an unknown brand. It is certainly made much better than my old cheap one, but I found that it would be easier to use if both sides of it were the velvety material that you use to apply the self tanner with (only one side is velvety). Perhaps I am missing something? Maybe the non-velvety side is for a different purpose, but if so, it was not mentioned in the included brief instructions for use. Nonetheless, overall I recommend it, it is far easier to apply the self tanner on your back using this rather than twisting and contorting your arms to get all the spots back there nice and evenly! It certainly works; I have no streaks or patchiness on my back after using the self tanner and back applicator 3 times now.
