Ephemera

this is what i wanted english major to be. it's a cashmere-y soft brown sugar vanilla, with a hint of old book paper, fall leaves, and something that gives it a little sweet pumpkin flesh/nutty acorn. it doesn't project (or get a little cloying) like english major, it's just cozy, wearable, and hug-distance sillage.

Another that surprised me to really like. The pumpkin isn't really gourmand so it very much gives fall vibes and has a sweeter dry down. Loved this one a lot

Ephemera and English Major should switch names! On me English Major is more atmospheric, like wet leaves and marshmallow. Ephemera actually smells like a notebook and ink pen. It's gorgeous and unexpected. Smells like I'm sitting against a tree, wrapped in a scarf, on a cool day writing in a journal, ink on my fingers from the pen. I don't personally get a lot of pumpkin, I get the notebook paper, acorns, and vanilla! The soil note adds a depth without smelling like dirt. It's not heavy but has great longevity. Deducted a star for the lack of pumpkin since I expected a brown sugar pumpkin scent and smell something totally different, but honestly it is a more original fall scent without it!
