Always my favorite

I use Puzzle yarns to make adult knitted caps. I donate them to a soup kitchen. The yarn is perfect for adults and it's acrylic so there are no allergies involved. The people who receive the hats wear them until they receive a new one, never washing them. That's why I love this yarn. It's inexpensive as yarn goes and I have made 100 or more so far. Many of the skeins will blend together and I often work the small leftover amounts into another skein of a different colorway and it looks great.

One of my favorite yarns

I've used many different yarns over the last 50 years and this is one I love to work with because it's works up great and looks fantastic. I've used it for wearables in the past and am now looking forward to making a blanket with it.

Not for me

I wanted to love the puzzle yarn. I'd heard so many folks raving about it, about how soft it is and so good for blankets. But I was keenly disappointed when the yarn arrived. Yes, it's soft (though not as soft as I'd expected), but it's also so flimsy that I hated working with it long enough to do a test. Maybe I just got a bad batch? All I know is that it's flimsy and splitty. I washed and dried the test square and if anything it was worse than before. Very fuzzy.
